At Hill Country Collective, coaches are the heart of our community. They do more than teach skills — they inspire confidence, build character, and create a safe, fun environment where every rider can thrive. Coaching is about riding alongside athletes, mentoring them on and off the bike, and helping shape the future of cycling.
NICA COACHING
Coaching with NICA is about more than riding skills — it’s about mentoring students in grades 5–12 as they grow on and off the bike. Coaches create a no-bench environment where every rider belongs, building confidence, resilience, and community through cycling. With NICA’s training and support, anyone with a passion for bikes and kids can make a lasting impact.
JOY RIDERS COACHING
Coaching the Joy Riders is all about keeping the good vibes rolling. You’ll lead rides on great trails, help riders of all levels feel confident, and make sure everyone’s having a blast — whether they’re chasing flow, discovering new routes, or just soaking up the joy of riding together.
FUTURE COACHING OPPORTUNITIES
Exciting new coaching opportunities are on the horizon at HCC. Soon, we’ll be launching the Gravity Team for riders drawn to the speed and challenge of downhill, as well as the Balance Bikes for Tikes program to introduce little ones to the joy of riding. These upcoming programs expand the ways coaches can get involved and make an impact with riders of all ages and levels.
